The Fairchild Republic A-10 Thunderbolt II "Warthog" is an American-built close air support attacker jet developed in 1972. Built to attack tanks and armored vehicles, the A-10 Thunderbolt II has 1,200 lb of titanium armor, meant for survivability. The A-10 Thunderbolt II is considered one of the most dangerous bombers on Earth due to their near-invulnerability and their power. They were built from 1972 to 1984, and planned to retire in 2028. It is used exclusively by the USAF.
