The 6th Virginia Infantry was a Confederate States Army regiment which was active from May 1861 to the spring of 1865 during the American Civil War. It was raised by William Mahone and was attached to the Army of Northern Virginia during the war, and 110 of its officers and men were able to surrender at Appomattox on 9 April 1865.
