The 6th Texas Cavalry Regiment was a Texan cavalry regiment of the Confederate States Army that was active from 6 September 1861 to 4 May 1865 during the American Civil War. Raised in Kaufman, Dallas, Collin, Van Zandt, McLennan, Bell, and Henderson counties, the regiment served in the Indian Territory, Arkansas, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Georgia.
