The 4th Texas Infantry Regiment was a Texan infantry regiment of the Confederate States Army that was active from 30 September 1861 to 9 April 1865 during the American Civil War. The regiment was raised in Goliad, Travis, Robertson, Falls, Guadalupe, McLennan, Bexar, Grimes, Walker, Hill, Montgomery, Freestone, Navarro, Ellis, and Henderson counties, and was attached to the Army of Northern Virginia from the Battle of Seven Pines to the Battle of Appomattox, with the exception of the Battle of Chickamauga.
