The 49th Georgia Infantry was a Confederate States Army regiment which was active from 22 March 1862 to 9 April 1865 during the American Civil War. It was raised near Guyton, Georgia, and it first fought at the Battle of Seven Pines and last at Appomattox, being attached to the Army of Northern Virginia. It had 8 officers and 103 men at the time of its surrender.
