The 43rd Panzer Division was an armored division of the German Wehrmacht that was activated on 24 September 1939 during World War II. The 8,100-strong division consisted of the 72nd Armored Brigade and the 121st and 122nd Motorized Brigades, and it was commanded by General Ernst Goettke at the start of the war. The division was deployed from the reserves to Bielsk Podlaski during the invasion of Poland.
