The 3rd Street Saints, also known as The Saints, were a street gang based in Detroit, Michigan and active in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania during the early 21st century.
Recognizable by their purple clothing and fleur de lys insignia, the gang was formed in 2006 by Julius Little as a splinter group of the Vice Kings gang. Since they were formed, the Saints became one of the largest and most powerful criminal empires in the United States, branching out to merchandise branding and movie production. Their current leader is an unidentifiable figure simply referred to as "The Boss", who has been with the gang since its inception.

Moving to Hollywood[]
Sometime after their victory with the Philadelphia gangs, the Saints began their transition into Hollywood. They first released a low-budget sci-fi crime film called "Gangstas in Space".
Soon after their initial success with movie production, members of the Saints were involved in the production of a high-budget parody film loosely based around the gang. The plot followed the Boss as President of the United States during an alien invasion. The cast included Benjamin King and actor Keith David. The movie had mixed critical reception, although became highly successful.
