The 36th Texas Cavalry Regiment was a Texan cavalry regiment of the Confederate States Army that was active from 22 March 1862 to June 1865 during the American Civil War. Raised in Sulphur Springs and Belton, and Caldwell and Gonzales counties, the regiment served in Louisiana and on the Texas Gulf coast during the war.
