The 2nd Virginia Infantry Regiment was a Virginian regiment of the Confederate States Army that was active from May 1861 to April 1865 during the American Civil War. Raised in Clarke, Frederick, Jefferson, and Berkeley counties in present-day West Virginia, the regiment was attached to the Stonewall Brigade and served in the Valley Campaign and with the Army of Northern Virginia from the Seven Days Battles to the surrender at Appomattox.
