The 2nd South Carolina Cavalry Regiment was a Confederate States Army cavalry regiment which was active from 22 August 1862 to 1865 during the American Civil War. It was served in Hampton's Legion under Matthew Butler, first fighting at the Second Battle of Bull Run and last at the Battle of the Wilderness.
