The 2nd Mississippi Infantry Regiment was a Mississippian regiment of the Confederate States Army that was active from April 1861 to April 1865 during the American Civil War. The regiment was raised in Tishomingo, Tippah, Itawamba, and Pontotoc counties, and it was attached to the Army of Northern Virginia from the First Battle of Bull Run to the Battle of Appomattox, with the exception of the Siege of Suffolk.
