The 27th (Inniskilling) Regiment of Foot was an infantry regiment of the British Army that was active from 1689 to 1881. The regiment was raised at Enniskillen in 1689 during the Williamite War in Ireland, and it later served in the War of the Grand Alliance, the Jacobite rising of 1745, the French and Indian War, in the French West Indies during the American Revolutionary War, the French Revolutionary Wars, the Egyptian Campaign, the Peninsular War, the Hundred Days, the Xhosa Wars, and the Sepoy Mutiny. It was merged into the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers in 1881.
