
The 25th Texas Cavalry Regiment was a Texan cavalry regiment of the Confederate States Army that was active from 1862 to 1865 during the American Civil War. Raised in Tyler, Fayette, Jasper, Goliad, Brazos, Liberty, and Walker counties, the regiment was consolidated with the 24th Texas Cavalry Regiment and served with the Army of Tennessee before being detached for the Atlanta campaign, Franklin-Nashville campaign, and the Carolinas campaign.
