The 22nd North Carolina Infantry Regiment was a North Carolina regiment of the Confederate States Army which was active from July 1861 to April 1865 during the American Civil War. Raised in Caldwell, McDowell, Surry, Ashe, Guilford, Alleghany, Caswell, Stokes, and Randolph counties, the regiment was attached to the Army of Northern Virginia from the Battle of Seven Pines to the surrender at Appomattox.
