The 21st North Carolina Infantry Regiment was a North Carolina regiment of the Confederate States Army which was active from July 1861 to April 1865 during the American Civil War. Raised in Davidson, Surry, Forsyth, Stokes, Rockingham, and Guilford counties, the regiment was attached to the Army of Northern Virginia during the war, first fighting at the First Battle of Bull Run and serving in the 1862 Valley Campaign.
