The 20th South Carolina Infantry Regiment was a South Carolina infantry regiment of the Confederate States Army that was active from 1861 to 1865 during the American Civil War. Recruited in Sumter, Orangeburg, and Calhoun counties, the regiment served in the South until it was transferred north to fight at the Battle of Cold Harbor and the Valley campaigns of 1864. It ended the war while fighting in the Carolinas campaign.
