The 20th Georgia Infantry Regiment was a Confederate States Army regiment from Georgia which was active from May 1861 to April 1865 during the American Civil War. Formed from the area of Columbus (Muscogee, Jefferson, Cook, Harris, Wilkinson, Telfair, and Crawford Counties), thte regiment was attached to the Army of Northern Virginia and fought with it from the Seven Days Battles to the Battle of Cold Harbor, apart from when it was attached to James Longstreet's army at the Battle of Chickamauga. The regiment ended the war at Appomattox with 18 officers and 191 men.
