The 2024 Hama offensive occurred in November-December 2024 when Turkish-backed Syrian rebels launched an offensive against the Syrian Arab Army in Hama Governorate amid the Syrian Civil War.

Following the fall of Aleppo to rebel forces, the Turkish-backed Syrian National Army and Tahrir al-Sham pushed south into Hama Governorate, bent on driving all the way to Damascus. The rebels took Taybat al-Imam, Kafr Zita, Latamneh, and Morek on the first day, and they closed in on the outskirts of Hama. On 1 December, the rebels entered the city's al-Arba'een neighborhood, but the government forces in Hama were reinforced and deployed to strategic positions. They regained some territory in a counteroffensive on 2 December, aided by the Russian Air Force. Afterwards, the Ba'athists formed a strong defensive line north of Hama.

On 4 December, the military launched a counteroffensive to recapture the tracked military vehicles academy northeast of the city, repelling three rebel attacks in the process. However, opposition forces cut off Hama's roads to Raqqa and Aleppo and surrounded the city from three directions by the end of the day. On 5 December, opposition forces entered northeastern Hama, quickly overwhelming the city. SAA forces withdrew from Hama, supposedly to preserve the lives of civilians, and HTS forces freed hundreds of inmates from Hama's Central Prison. Abu Mohammad al-Julani declared that his forces entered Hama to "cleanse a 40-year-old wound," the 1982 Hama massacre, and the rebels vowed to advance father south to Homs and called on the city's inhabitants to rise up.
