The 2020 Nine Elms break-in occurred in 2020 when DedSec operative Caroline Buckingham breached the Albion base at the Nine Elms Pier in the London Borough of Wandsworth and destroyed a container of biohazard waste.

While helping construction worker Muireann Slattery investigate a shipment which had given Slattery migraines (denied by the company, which claimed that she had insufficient evidence), Buckingham found a white boat on the River Thames where her boss had spoken to a government official about the shipment. Through hacking, she discovered a recording in which the official warned the official about any more people dying from handling the black-market biohazard materials they procured from Clan Kelley. With this information, Buckingham discovered that Slattery had been handling toxic waste, and, with the help of her AI system Bagley, she tracked down the biohazard materials to the Nine Elms Pier on the south bank of the Thames in the Nine Elms neighborhood of Wandsworth.

Buckingham infiltrated the pier after exiting her boat and swimming to a floating platform, where she took down a guard and sent out a drone to infiltrate the pier. She used the drone to shut down the warning-laser wall protecting one of the boathouses, and she then returned to the boat and then drove into the boathouse. There, she caught the attention of the Albion guards and riot drones, leading to a massive shootout in which she gunned down around a dozen Albion guards (all of whom were merely wounded, as DedSec's guns were powered by electricity and thus non-lethal) and shot down several drones. She then fought her way through the facility before finding the biohazard waste and shooting it until the container was destroyed. With this done, she returned to her boat and escaped the area, and she then called Slattery to inform her of her success. Slattery promptly agreed to join DedSec, expanding the group's London network.
