The 2015 Little Asia fire occurred in 2015 when the Little Asia slum of Kabukicho, Tokyo was destroyed by the Tojo-kai yakuza clan in an act of arson committed at the behest of Tsuneo Iwami. The fire gutted the district and led to its demolition and quick rebuilding by the Saio Triad, which transformed it into a flashy "Chinatown" district and its home base in Japan.

Tsuneo Iwami had conceived the idea of the fire as part of his long-term plan to displace his father, Heizo Iwami, as Chairman of the Yomei Alliance. With the cooperation of Saio heir Jimmy Lo and Tojo Clan advisor Katsumi Sugai, he decided to have the Tojo burn down Little Asia so that the Saio could move into Tokyo, declare war on the Tojo, and thus lead to the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department blaming Tojo Chairman Daigo Dojima for the fire and arresting him, clearing the way for Sugai to take over the clan. Unbeknownst to Jimmy Lo, Iwami intended to betray and eliminate the Saio once they were no longer of use to him, after which the Tojo would complete their control over Kanto, formally ally with Tsuneo, and let Tsuneo seize control of the Yomei after securing the Daidoji Faction's help by threatening to reveal the "Secret of Onomichi".

The Tojo started several small fires across Little Asia, and the flames soon spread and consumed all of Little Asia's tightly-packed slums. An unknown number of residents were killed in the conflagration, and the Homeland restaurant was destroyed, with Mei Zhao and Mei Hua's fates being unknown. The fire ultimately achieved Iwami's goal of enabling the Saio to move into Kabukicho and rebuild Little Asia, only for the ensuing gang war to turn real when Iwami's Jingweon Mafia associates failed to kill Big Lo and only killed Jimmy. In December 2016, Little Asia would once again burn down when Yuta Usami confronted his father, Big Lo, and set fire to the Saio headquarters.
