The 2008 Queens gas station shootout occurred in the spring of 2008 when Luis Fernando Lopez, Henrique Bardas, and Armando Torres assaulted a drug deal between two groups of Spanish Lords gangsters at a gas station in Queens, New York City. The three criminals took cover behind a random man's car that had stopped on the road in front of the gas station, and the criminals engaged in a gunfight with the Spanish Lords gangsters. Lopez softened up the enemy's resistance with some M4 fire, and he proceeded to take out a shotgun and kill the last of the Spanish Lords gangsters. Lopez stole a duffel bag full of marijuana after killing all of the gangsters, and the three criminals managed to escape to Jackson Heights and sell the drugs to a local dealer for $8,000.
