The 1st Tennessee Infantry Regiment was a regiment of the Confederate States Army which was active from 1861 to 1865 during the American Civil War. It was commanded by George Maney, and it fought at the Battle of Cheat Mountain, the Battle of Shiloh, the Battle of Perryville, the Battle of Stones River, the Battle of Chickamauga, the Chattanooga Campaign, the Battle of Atlanta, the Battle of Franklin, and the Battle of Nashville, and it surrendered to Union general William T. Sherman in 1865.
