The 1st Louisiana Infantry Regiment was an infantry regiment of the Confederate States Army that was active from 1861 to 1865 during the American Civil War. Organized at New Orleans from several New Orleanian companies and companies from Caddo and Rapides Parishes, the regiment fought in the Eastern Theater from the Battle of Malvern Hill to the Appomattox campaign, ending the war with just 1 officer and 18 enlisted men present for duty.
