1976 Step Inn pub bombing

The 1976 Step Inn pub bombing occurred on 16 August 1976 when the Ulster Volunteer Force loyalist paramilitary attacked a pub in Keady, County Armagh, Northern Ireland. The UVF used a car bomb in the attack, killing 2 people and injuring 20 while the pub was packed with customers. The Step Inn bombing targeted Catholic Irish patrons in another action of sectarian violence.
