The 16th Texas Cavalry Regiment was a Texan cavalry regiment of the Confederate States Army that was active from April 1862 to 26 May 1865 during the American Civil War. Raised in Collin, Cooke, and Grayson counties, the regiment served in Arkansas, Mississippi, and Louisiana during the war.
