The 15th Virginia Infantry Regiment was a regiment of the Confederate States Army which was active from May 1861 to April 1865. Raised from Richmond, Henrico, and Hanover Counties, the 15th Virginia fought with the Army of Northern Virginia from the Seven Days Battles to the Battle of Fredericksburg, in Tennessee and North Carolina, and at the Battle of Cold Harbor and the Siege of Petersburg. The regiment surrendered at Appomattox in 1865.
