
The 13th Louisiana Infantry Regiment was an infantry regiment of the Confederate States Army that was active from 1861 to 1865 during the American Civil War. Recruited in Lafayette, St. Mary, and Tangipahoa parishes, the regiment fought in the West from the Battle of Shiloh to the Perryville-Stones river campaign, the Siege of Vicksburg, the Chattanooga campaign, the Atlanta campaign, and the Franklin-Nashville campaign. Its remnants surrendered in Mobile after the Battle of Spanish Fort.
