
The 13th Georgia Infantry Regiment was a Confederate States Army regiment which was active from June 1861 to 9 April 1865 during the American Civil War. It was raised in Georgia's Pike, Meriwether, Troup, Spalding, Upson, Randolph, Terrell, Fayette, and Earl counties, and it was attached to the Army of Northern Virginia during the war, first fighting at the Second Battle of Bull Run in August 1862. It went on to fight in every major battle through to the Battle of Appomattox Court House, after which the entire army surrendered.
