The 100th Separate Guards Motorized Rifle "Order of Republic" Brigade, formerly the Donetsk Republican Guard, is a motorized brigade of the Russian Ground Forces that was formed in 2015 with the objective of protecting DPR government officials and installations. The unit was created by Alexander Zakharchenko amid the Donbas War, and it was transformed into a rapid reaction brigade in 2016, with a strength of 5,000 troops. In 2022, following Russia's annexation of the Donbas region, the 100th Separate Guards Motorized Rifle Brigade became a unit of the Russian Army.
